By Lizz Weihrauch on January 09, 2023

Sing and dance your way through winter!

Music is the perfect mood-boosting, anytime, anywhere activity---especially great during those colder, longer winter months. When you enroll in a Music Together® or Canta y Baila Conmigo® class this winter, you'll join other local families to form a musical community. Your expert teacher will get everyone moving and grooving along to our award-winning songs, and you’ll be able to keep the musical play going at home with your new recording and illustrated songbook.

As you nurture your child’s inner music-maker, you’ll also be supporting their social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Even the littlest learners benefit; in fact, music is an amazing brain-booster for babies.

Music and Mood
By Lizz Weihrauch on October 26, 2022

AnneMarie is one of our awesome and beloved MusicalMe teachers. She always has great advice and suggestions for her families....here is one of her suggestions from this month.

"I’m sure you already know this, but music really influences our mood and has the power to change the energy entirely. Lately, I’ve been turning on a playlist called “Jazz for Autumn,” on Spotify after dinner to help my daughter ease into the bedtime transition and, wow! It has helped calm the energy for all of us and made our evenings a little more relaxing and smooth, so I thought I’d offer it as a suggestion for you, too! If you don’t have Spotify, I’m sure you can find a free Youtube playlist by searching for autumn/fall jazz.  https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DX7UE7qrnkvsf?si=6a1a5ce05d12424e".
