At MusicalMe, we know that children learn differently than adults. They learn instinctively and constantly, and teach themselves through imitation and play, through being immersed in their environment, and through interaction with adults and older children. MusicalMe nurtures a family-like setting, which creates an ideal learning environment where infants, toddlers, and preschoolers can freely participate at their own levels. It's all based on continuing research in early childhood and music development.

Your are your child's most important music teacher right now! Young children learn through play and experimentation and by watching and listening to the grownups they love. Setting an example as an enthusiastic participator in music activities is the best thing any parent or caregiver can do to help set a child on the road to a lifelong love of music. Parents don't need to have music skills - they just need a desire to play and have fun with their children! Our teachers are specially trained to create a safe atmosphere so you can happily join in, experiment, or even get silly - and feel closer to your child while doing so.
Wiggling, singing, and laughing with your child is so much fun, it's easy to forget how much learning is taking place! Our research-based curriculum not only develops music skills, it nurtures creativity, self-expression, and confidence while also supporting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Because these benefits build over time, children enjoy the fullest growth in each of these areas when they participate as consistently as possible up through kindergaten.
MusicalMe is proud to offer both the Music Together and Canta y Baila Conmigo® music programs.
Since 1987, Music Together has introduced millions of children, parents, and teachers around the world to the joys of family music-making and the powerful benefits of having music in their daily lives. As an internationally recognized music program for children birth to age 5 - and the grownups who love them - Music Together nurtures each child's natural musicality in a playful, musically rich learning environment. The research based music classes are designed to be non-formal and non-performance oriented, so your child can learn at his or her own pace, in a way that's developmentally appropriate.
Music Together has developed nine non-sequential song collections, each characterized by its own graphic, color, and instrument. These collections each include a recording and child's songbook and are designed to be used one collection per semester. The collections are not sequential. A family can begin Music Together classes at any time with any collection. Each family enrolled in the program takes home a beautifully illustrated songbook, a CD, and a download each semester.
The music is pitched in just the right range for children's voices and includes songs, rhythmic chants, tonal and rhythm patterns, and instrumental play-alongs, all in a rich variety of tonalities and meters. Original songs and arrangements by the program coauthors make these collections especially unique. Each of the nine Music Together Song Collections also includes traditional american folk songs and chants, music from many other cultures, always including at least one song per collection in another language. Outstanding instrumentalists play a variety of instruments, such as guitar, bass, flutes, keyboards, and percussion. And all of the songs are suitable for mixed-age groups, perfect for childcare centers or families with children of different ages.
Real Music. Real Language. Real Learning. Canta y Baila Conmigo is a Spanish language and culture program with dual, complementary goals of music development and Spanish acquisition. It is both a music class in Spanish and a family language immersion experience. CyBC introduces the Spanish language through the musical traditions of Spanish-speaking countries.
What makes Canta y Baila Conmigo different? Many programs teach vocabulary using songs. We pride ourselves in teaching language through music. We take music education seriously, and we present it in the context of language immersion. Children and adults learn language naturally and organically through the music activities, song lyrics, and the interactions in class.
Language learning through immersion is natural and ongoing, so the song collections are not sequential. Basic key vocabulary is used and repeated every semester. Each collection also adds themes and special concepts that enrich language learning no matter which semester you join the class.
